Established over 50 years ago Russell Roof Tiles manufactures a range of concrete roof tiles and fittings for the pitched roofing market, used on leading residential and commercial projects across the UK.

Russell Roof Tiles is the third largest roof tile manufacturer in the UK by volume and works closely with developers and planners, looking at who is seeking a sustainable option – roof tiles that replicate the look of “natural” tile using high tech modern techniques.

With 70% of concrete tiles going into the private and social housing market, the company has a growing collection of tiles for pitched roofing which has been completely re-figured to meet huge market growth in the sector. The company’s fastest growing market is for ‘thinner leading edge’ roof tiles and Russell Roof Tiles was one of the first manufacturers to market its thinner leading-edge designs – responding to local authority planning requirements. These concrete roof tiles are approximately half the thickness of standard concrete tiles, and are designed to replicate regional roof types – stone, slate and clay.

Russell Roof tiles is the only British roof tile manufacturer to have been awarded an “Excellent” rating for responsible sourcing under BES 6001.
