Balfour Beatty bosses have increased the group’s PPP portfolio value to £1.05bn, up 46 per cent from £766m in December 2013.
Thirty-seven UK projects were re-rated across roads, hospitals, schools and other sectors, which increased to £801m, up 63 per cent compared with £491m at June 2014.

Carillon was Network Rail’s most used contractor over the 2013/2014 financial year, being paid £281m for the period.

Interserve has “moved on amicably” with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, according to its chief executive, after it ended a legal challenge against the award of three contracts to CarillionAmey expected to be worth billions.
Adrian Ringrose told Construction News the legal challenge had been “unappealing” but that “sometimes it’s the right thing to do”.
Kier Living has named a new managing director to head its division in the East of England.
Nick Moore has been promoted to the position, from his role as managing director of Kier Homes.
Mr Moore is a quantity surveyor by background and has 29 years’ industry experience, having worked for companies including Taylor Wimpey and London developer Rialto Homes.
