Contractors Sought for £6m Improvement Works

Carlisle City Council is currently inviting applications to tender for works to disabled facilities across the County of Cumbria. The final date for the receipt of requests to participate is 23rd February, 2012. Work for the £6 million scheme will be divided into four lots:

• Lot 1 - A panel of providers to undertake Level Access and Over Bath Shower installation
• Lot 2 - A panel of providers to undertake bedroom, shower room extensions and alterations
• Lot 3 - A panel of providers to undertake external ramp construction and installation and
• Lot 4 - A panel of providers to undertake stair lift provision and installation.

The contract is expected to start in April 2012.
